About the ReZoom IOL
 
The ReZoom IOL (Intraocular Lens) is the first lens implant that uses Balanced View Optics technology! Previously available lens implants only focused light at one distance. Balanced View Optics technology makes the ReZoom lens a more versatile option for vision correction, by providing multiple focus points. Now patients have a lens option that will help them see clearly across a full range of vision - distance, intermediate, and near!

How does the ReZoom differ from other lenses?
 
The new technology in multifocal lenses provides quality vision after cataract surgery. Standard intraocular lenses (monofocal) provide good distance vision, but patients need glasses for intermediate and near vision. However, the ReZoom IOL provides multiple points of focus reducing the dependence on glasses after surgery. 92% of patients with ReZoom IOLs "never" or "only occasionally" need to wear glasses.
