Dr. Bregman received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia and completed his residency in Ophthalmology at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC. During his Army service, Dr. Bregman was Chief of Ophthalmology at Ft. Knox, Kentucky. He has practiced in Nashville as part of this practice since 1993, and has performed more than 20,000 LASIK procedures, 20,000 cataract procedures, and was one of the first surgeons in Tennessee to perform the Visian ICL procedure which received FDA approval in 2005.
Dr. Bregman specializes in cataract surgery, LASIK, ICL surgery, pterygium surgery, and treats clinical patients with glaucoma, neurophthalmic, and corneal disorders. In addition to his board certification by the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Dr. Bregman has extra surgical certification in cataract and LASIK surgery by the American Board of Eye Surgery. When performing cataract surgery, Dr. Bregman uses premium intraocular lens implants (IOLs), such as ReStor and Toric.
Dr. Bregman is the proud father of three children, and he and his wife also have two wonderful dogs. Dr. Bregman loves all kinds of music, and is known to hum or sing in the clinic and operating room on occasion. Dr. Crisp is a native of western North Carolina. She attended Duke University on an academic scholarship where she received her Bachelor's Degree in Zoology. She completed her Medical Doctorate at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Following her one year internship in straight medicine at Washington Hospital Center in D.C., Dr. Crisp performed retina research at the Estelle Doheny Eye Foundation in Los Angeles, California. Her four year Residency in Ophthalmology was conducted at Louisiana State University in New Orleans.
While in New Orleans, she was resident instructor at Tulane Medical Center and an assistant instructor for the Optometric Society. She has been practicing Anterior Segment Ophthalmology specializing in cataract surgery since 1992. Dr. Crisp performs no-stitch and micro-incision cataract procedures and also utilizes the premium astigmatism-correcting lenses. Dr. Crisp is recognized for her ozil phaco technique used during the cataract procedure. In addition, Dr. Crisp has considerable experience providing advanced treatment for glaucoma patients, such as SLT laser therapy. Dr. Crisp is a member of The American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Medical Association, and a Diplomat of The American Board of Ophthalmology.
Dr. Crisp settled in Rutherford County following the destruction of her practice by Hurricane Katrina. In her spare time Dr. Crisp enjoys Jazz music, traveling and spending time with her Chihuahua, Rufus.

Dr. Heikki Eric Kostamaa is a fellowship-trained, board-certified ophthalmologist with additional surgical and medical training in Vitreoretinal disease. He received his medical degree and ophthalmic surgical training at the University of California, Irvine where he served as Chief Resident. He received additional internship training in internal medicine from the UCLA-West Los Angeles VA. He specializes in diseases of the retina, including macular degeneration, diabetic retinal disease, macular holes, epiretinal membranes and retinal detachments.
Dr. Kostamaa is excited to be a part of the new medical and surgical treatments in retinal disease management and he strives to offer the most current treatment options for his Murfreesboro retina patients while also developing long term relationships. He believes that teamwork is the key to delivering optimal eye care and that Eye Health Partners is ideally suited to provide this type of care. In his spare time, Dr. Kostamaa enjoys playing golf and electric guitar.

Dr. Jennifer Drake graduated Suma Cum Laude from Western Kentucky University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, graduating with honors. She completed clinical rotations at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in Ocular Disease and Low Vision, Pediatric Optometry, Contact Lens, and Primary Care. She also completed rotations at a private practice in Bowling Green, Kentucky as well as Eye Health Partners.
During her time in Birmingham, she was an officer of Student Volunteers of Optometric Service to Humanity, in charge of planning overseas mission trips to provide eye care to underserved areas. Her current professional memberships include Gold Key Honor Society, Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society, the American Optometric Association, Tennessee Optometric Association, and Duck River Optometric Society.
Dr. Drake joined Eye Health Partners in July 2008 as the Center Director of the Columbia office. She and her husband, Gavin, live in Cane Ridge, Tennessee with their Boston Terrier, Sebastian. She enjoys trips to the beach, playing with her dog, and curling up to a good book or movie.
