About the ReZoom IOL
The ReZoom IOL (Intraocular Lens) is the first lens implant that uses Balanced View Optics technology! Previously available lens implants only focused light at one distance. Balanced View Optics technology makes the ReZoom lens a more versatile option for vision correction by providing multiple focus points. Now patients have a lens option that will help them see clearly across a full range of vision - distance, intermediate and near!
How does the ReZoom differ from other lenses?
This new technology in multifocal lenses provides quality vision after cataract surgery. Standard intraocular lenses (monofocal) provide good distance vision, but patients need glasses for intermediate and near vision. However, the ReZoom IOL provides multiple points of focus reducing the dependency on glasses after surgery. 92 percent of patients with ReZoom IOLs "never" or "only occasionally" need to wear glasses.
