Gregory M. Hoffpauir, M.D. is a board certified ophthalmologist specializing in cataract treatment and general ophthalmology, as well as the medical treatment of diabetic retinopathy and retinal holes. He has been practicing ophthalmology since 1993 and has remained on the leading edge of medical technology in his specialty area of eye health. He performs clear cornea cataract surgery utilizing the astigmatism and presbyopia correcting lenses such as the Toric and ReStor IOLs. In addition to his comprehensive experience in cataract treatments, Dr. Hoffpauir’s expertise also encompasses the management of glaucoma and retinal disease, as well as reconstructive and cosmetic eyelid procedures. He is also highly skilled in strabismus correction, having trained with the highly renowned pediatric ophthalmologist Earl Crouch, M.D.
Dr. Hoffpauir’s medical degree was awarded from the Louisiana State University School of Medicine. He then completed his ophthalmology residency as Chief Resident at the Eastern Virginia Graduate School of Medicine. Additionally, Dr. Hoffpauir completed ophthalmic pathology training at the Earl K. Long Memorial Hospital (LSU Medical Center) in Baton Rouge, LA.
Dr. Hoffpauir’s professional affiliations include membership with the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and has earned the status of Fellow with the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He also served in the Medical Society of Louisiana before relocating to Montgomery, AL.
In addition to Dr. Hoffpauir’s educational and professional accomplishments, he served in the US Naval Reserve as a naval flight instructor and became proficient in carrier landings. He received numerous awards and was selected to pilot the F-14. A native of southern Louisiana, Dr. Hoffpauir joined Vision America of Montgomery in January 2011. Outside of his medical practice, Dr. Hoffpauir enjoys spending time with his wife and five children and pursuing his musical talent of playing guitar.

Dr. Crisse Bolton serves as the Center Director of VisionAmerica of Montgomery where she is committed to providing exceptional care to patients in cooperation with their referring Optometrist. She specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of complex eye diseases, pediatric vision development, and in the pre- and post-operative management of ocular surgeries.
Dr. Bolton attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where she received her Bachelor’s degree in 2003, graduating with Suma Cum Laude academic honors. While at UAB, Dr. Bolton was a member of both Alpha Epsilon Delta and Psi Chi Honor societies. She went on to attend the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry where she earned her doctorate degree. She also completed a Residency in Family Practice Optometry at UABSO, focusing on ocular disease management and pediatric vision development/Vision Therapy.
Dr. Bolton is married and has 3 children. She and her husband serve as missionaries with YUGO Ministries in Mexico, where they partner with local churches to build homes for families in need.
